Valley Kangaroos Rugby Football Club
A non-profit sports organization
Is located in the greater Seattle area in Washington State.
The club currently plays in the second division. We field two men's sides - a first fifteens and a second fifteens. The Valley Kangaroos enjoy the only pitch dedicated to rugby - Ryan Field located between 13659 - 18th Ave. S, and S 142nd, in SeaTac . The Kangaroos sponsor three under 19 youth clubs, the Valley Joeys located in Kent Valley, the Liberty Patriots from Liberty HS and the Rainier Junior Rugby giving boys ages 14 to 19 in Orting, Sumner, Bonney Lake, Buckley and Enumclaw an opportunity to play rugby . Our club is currently playing our Spring 2009, league schedule.
Our rugby union play takes place during the Fall and Spring (normally September - December and February - May).
We are always welcoming new and experienced players to come out and play for the Kangaroos. We do not require that you have any rugby experience. If you decide you would like to come out for a run at one of our trainings, please see Training link to the left. If your club is planning a tour to the Pacific Northwest, we can help you with your club's tour scheduling. We make every attempt to host all touring clubs who want to visit the Seattle area.
