The Valley Kangaroos are pleased to announce that we will be hosting a USA Rugby CDP workshop on Saturday July 25th & Sunday July 26th at Pat Ryan Memorial Field in Seatac!  Details and registration information are below;

Please Note: Registration closes the Wednesday before the workshop at 12pm MT. At this time only walk-in registration is available at the $300 rate.
 

To earn certification, coaches must:

  1. Have a valid Membership  (CIPP) to USA Rugby before attending a workshop 
  2. Complete the IRB Rugby Ready online module (Free of Charge)
  3. Complete the Positive Coaching Alliance's Double-Goal Coach online module (Free of Charge)
  4. Complete a CDP face-to-face workshop (It is required to complete the Introducing Rugby Workshop before the Developing Rugby Skills workshop. Or if have taken and passed the Introducing Rugby "Test out" exemption).

Note: There are a few slight changes to our certification requirements. We now require that you attend an Introducing Rugby course before the Developing Rugby course.  However, we are offering a test out option for those coaches who feel they have the background, skills and knowledge to jump directly into the Developing Rugby Skills course. This test will not be offered on the website, it is up to the individual to request the information by e-mailing Mollie at mmccarthy@usarugby.org .
